An event celebrating International Data Privacy Day. The event will take place in Simmons Auditorium A at Tepper School of Business on the Carnegie Mellon campus.

About Data Privacy Day

Join us on Friday, January 27, 2023 for our Privacy Day 2023 event at Carnegie Mellon University. CMU is celebrating the International Data Privacy Day by presenting privacy research and practical advice on protecting privacy online. CMU's Privacy Day event will take place from 11am-1pm in Simmons Auditorium A at the Tepper School of Business. The event is open to the public, and no registration is required.

Data Privacy Day is an international effort to empower and educate people to protect their privacy and control their digital footprint. For more information, please visit StaySafeOnline.org.

Privacy Day will feature a Privacy Clinic. Come to our Privacy Clinic to learn how to protect your privacy. CMU’s information privacy and security students will educate you and answer your questions about privacy risks and remedies concerning many topics, including:
